LambdaVision has been named a 2014 Tech Company to Watch at the Connecticut Innovation Summit, an event that is presented by the Connecticut Technology Council, the Angel Investor Forum, the Crossroads Venture Group, and CURE. LambdaVision Wins $190K STTR Grant

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded LambdaVision a $190K Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program grant. The funds will accelerate progress towards the development of a retinal implant to restore vision of patients suffering from retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration.

LambdaVision President and CEO, Dr. Nicole Wagner, will be a panelist at the Southeastern CT Entrepreneurs' Network on October 8th, 2014 from 4:30pm to 7:00pm at the Mystic Marriott (Groton, CT). The panel, which also includes Dr. Yael Schwartz (Restorgenex), Carolyn Green (Atreaon, Inc.), and Dr. Martin Jefson (Roding Therapeutics), will discuss how to become a successul entrepreneur. LambdaVision and CCAT Featured in Upcoming Webinar
September 3, 2014
3D Systems will be hosting a webinar on September 11th, 2014 at 11:00am with researchers from LambdaVision and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT). The webinar will feature a discussion on the use of 3D printing techniques towards the development of a precision surgical tool that will insert a retinal implant into the subretinal space of a patient's eye. LambdaVision CEO to Speak at The Innovator Series in Bridgeport, CT

LambdaVision CEO, Dr. Nicole Wagner, will be a panelist during The Innovator Series at the University of Bridgeport on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. The panel discussion, which also includes John Garber (Image Analysis) and Todd Leri (Remedy Partners), will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in the Schelfhaudt Gallery located in the Arnold Bernhard Center at 84 Iranistan Avenue. CCAT Awards Manufacturing Grant to LambdaVision
February 19, 2014
LambdaVision was awarded a grant from the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) to assist in the development of prototypes for a surgical instrument. The surgical instrument will be used to implant the retinal prosthesis into the subretinal space, and is currently being tested for upcoming in vivo experiments. The press release can be found here.
